Case Information: Home Solutions of America

 This case covers all purchasers of the common stock of Home Solutions of America (“Home Solutions”) during the period from May 10, 2007 through February 15, 2008.
 
Izard Nobel LLP was appointed as Co-Lead Counsel by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas on April 2, 2008.  An Amended Complaint, filed on May 29, 2008, alleges that Defendants misrepresented the Company’s business and financial condition by making misrepresentations concerning: (i) the Company’s revenues; and (ii) contracts purportedly awarded to Home Solutions.  

After participating in mediation, the parties agreed to a settlement in the amount of $5.1 million.  On April 10, 2009, the Court entered an Order preliminarily approving the settlement agreement.  The Court granted final approval of the  settlement on June 16, 2009.  On May 26, 2010, Plaintiffs filed a motion for distribution of the settlement funds.  On June 2, 2010, the Court signed the Order authorizing the distribution of settlement funds. 

The deadline for Class Members to have submitted their Proof of Claim Form was September 8, 2009.
